From one to million trees in a forest As just one tree can greatly contribute to both humans and wildife, a rich forest thus even offers immeasurable values to people. Most importantly, in the wake of global warming, a hot issue for mankind, absorbing carbon dioxide and releasing oxygen into the atmosphere of the forest trees means prolonging breath is a task that is inestimably useful for other living creatures.

Tree, Forest and Carbon
Amidst increasingly warmer climate, a natural crisis affecting lives of human in many areas, reduction carbon dioxide, which is one of the greenhouse gases, is one of the solutions. Several measures include production technology development, a study of entire life cycle of the product and reduction of use of fossil fuel, etc. Some studies show that the best method of reducing carbon dioxide is to store it in the trees.
A way to keep carbon dioxide with the trees themselves is through photosynthesis. The trees "breanthe in" carbon dioxide and release oxygen. The carbon dioxide will be stored in the mass of the trees which is called biomass. Planting one tree will absorb 1.81 tons of carbon dioxide and release 1.32 tons of oxygen. Thus the forest and plants is the world's largest accumulator or storage of carbon dioxide as they absorb one quarter of it.
Therefore, deforestation means harm to greenhouse gas destroyer and burning the forest is to send out vicious carbon dioxide that has been stored to hurt ourselves.
